Conceptual and detailed design
Starting from a Customer or Market specification, target product solutions are conceived, trade- off studies conducted until a feasible configuration is achieved and approved at formal Design Reviews (Preliminary and Critical design reviews). After that, detailed drawings are produced as to allow for prototype parts and assemblies manufacturing.
Engineering Analysis
Aerodynamic, structural and systems modeling and analyses are conducted to ensure the outcoming final design fulfills functional requirements (performance, weight, human factors, etc).
Simulation
Numerical modeling is employed to anticipate product behavior before the actual testing, minimizing risks and drastic changes.
Parts procurement
- Supply chain development and management:
- Equipment and aircraft parts purchase;
- Suppliers forecasting and lead time negotiations;
- Contracts and payment terms negotiations (RC and NRC);
- Transportation planning and logistics;
- On-time supply of production needs;
- Forecast and estimation of currency funds for Finance - Cash Flow.
Configuration management
Product assembly and parts applicability are continuously controlled from the first drawing issued to prototypes and production units, going through all manufacturing stages.
Manufacturing sourcing & integration
Shop floor procedures and systems orderly manage parts manufacturing, assembly and installations in a continuous manner by qualified personnel, in order to produce top quality and conforming products.
Certification
Product’s definition drawings, supporting documents (reports) and tests are conducted to demonstrate safety and compliance with applicable rules issued by Airworthiness Authorities, leading to formal certification.
